30/05/2008 The Round Table devoted to the gas pipeline planned to be constructed on the seabed of the Baltic Sea, took place on in Riga on May 14, 2008. NGOs of the Baltic Region met with experts of Company Nord Stream AG.NGOs from Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Russia, Sweden and Estonia represented the public of the region. The company was represented by 7 specialists: Permitting Director, experts of Nord Stream AG and Ramboll,company’s manager in the field of the communication with the public.

12/10/2007 The Nobel Peace Prize 2007 goes to the former USA Vice-President Albert (Al) Gore and the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) for ”their efforts to build up and disseminate greater knowledge about man-made climate change, and to lay the foundations for the measures that are needed to counteract such change”.

10/08/2004 В независимом пресс-центре 16 сентября состоялась пресс-конференция, посвящённая Социальному форуму по изменению климата, прошедшему в тот же день в Москве. Основной задачей форума стало обеспечение участия общественности в процессе принятия решения о ратификации Россией Киотского протокола к Рамочной конвенции ООН по изменению климата – важнейшего международного соглашения, обеспечивающего включение рыночных механизмов решения данной глобальной проблемы.

05/08/2004 Опубликован доклад Международной сети детского питания "Нарушая правила - 2004: данные о несоблюдении "Международного кодекса торговли заменителями грудного молока" и последующих резолюций Ассамблеи Всемирной организации здравоохранения". Среди основных нарушителей следующие представленные в СНГ фирмы: Nestle, Friesland, Danone, Gerber, Nutricia, Humana, Heinz и Hipp.
