The Russian Regional Environmental Centre (RREC) has issued a booklet dedicated to its project “Media-training for Journalists on Climate Change Challenge in Mountain Regions”, which was being conducted with the financial support of the British Embassy in Moscow. 20/12/2007 The all-Russian contest for journalists “Climate Change – a Hot Topic”was organized by the Russian Regional Environmental Centre under the sponsorship of the British Embassy in Moscow and was aimed at enhancement of professional coverage of the climate change issues in mass-media, as well as at attraction of general public attention to the problem. The winners of the contest have been announced today.

27/11/2007 The Moscow presentation of the 2007/2008 UNDP Global Human Development Report will take place on 28 November 2007 at 15:00 in the premises of MGIMO University. The Human Development Report is an independent report commissioned annually by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). This year the authors focused on climate change consequences for human development.

Экологи потребовали от Венгрии не посылать ядерные отходы в Россию
16/02/2005 Российские экологи передали послу Венгрии в России Ференцу Контре массовое обращение граждан России в адрес премьер-министра Венгрии Ференца Дьюрчаня с требованием отказаться от экспорта ядерных отходов в Россию. Передача обращения была приурочена к официальному визиту Ференца Дьюрчаня в Российскую Федерацию.
